04 What’s a Wiki?

Wikis lie at the heart of many of the new technologies. They are essentially collaborative web pages, ie: if you have the necessary permissions, you can edit the wiki… it doesn’t matter where you are, or what computer you use, as long as you can get online.

For a quick historu of wikis you should read the entry for wikis on Wikipedia.

Failing that, nip over to our dedicated wiki and have a look around.
